Negative ions - Original functional fibers

Regarding to Bambus nonwoven medical gauze, bamboo soft cloth, and DRESS series,

Medi-Fusion's original materials generate extremely high levels of negative ions without the addition of any specific chemicals or special processing for negative ion.

In recent years, a growing number of studies have been published showing the positive effects of negative ions on living organisms, and there are now many textile and fabric products that claim to generate negative ions in market.

Most of them, negative ions are generated intentionally by applying a coating to the fabric or by mixing minerals such as tourmaline into the fibers, however the negative ions generated by our Bambus Nonwoven Medical Gauze, Bamboo Soft Cloth, and DRESS series occur naturally without any such process.

This is due to the cellulosic fibers used in Medi-Fusion original products. Cellulose fibers are made 100% from bamboo, and as a result of the fiberization process they have an extremely microscopically porous cross-sectional structure, which we believe acts to enhance the generation of negative ions caused by the collisions of water molecules in the air.

The reason why the therapeutic effect was so much higher clinically compared to previous products is thought to be largely due to the influence of the attached negative ion generation test results.

At our affiliated clinic, Hajime Kimata , Due to concerns that static electricity and electromagnetic waves can worsen the itching and inflammation of atopic dermatitis, we have been searching for clothes and covers made from natural materials that are less likely to become static and have antistatic properties.

The characteristics of bamboo cellulose fiber that they discovered include antibacterial properties, deodorizing properties, low friction, water absorption, water retention, and antistatic properties, all of which were found to be suitable for optimizing wound areas.

Through clinical research with Medifuge, we have conducted numerous tests to identify the characteristics of these original products, confirm their safety, and establish their clinical usefulness, all leading up to the development of these original products.

In Japan, the only "medical device nonwoven gauze" made from 100 % bamboo cellulose fiber that has been certified by the PMDA is our original product, "Medical Nonwoven Gauze Bamboo," which has obtained medical device class 1 certification.

Made from the same material as Bamboo, "Bamboo Soft Cloth" is a slightly thinner non-woven gauze made from 100% bamboo cellulose fiber that is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1 certified.
